The Shamans Drum

The drum is a spirit itself and each drum spirit has a different purpose. Some may be for healing, ceremonies or for community.

The drum holds many spirits and can draw energy from the elements.

The Shamanic drum is made in ceremony to honour the spirits and elementals.

When the drum is played it beats to the heartbeat of its owner, it is the heart of the shaman and therefore it is through the rhythm of the shaman’s heart that will guide

you and the power of the heart that will transform/alchemise energies.

You would not touch another shaman’s drum, in respect, as it is an extension of themselves.

It is known as the horse that will carry you on your journey.

As the drum beats, the vibration settles the mind and helps bring us into a trance like state which allows us to connect with the higher consciousness.

The drums vibration can also help to clear energies and assist in healings. It will play different tones depending on what work needs to be done.

It is a sacred tool to work with and is used with respect and honour.
